TOURNAMENT RULES
GENERAL RULES -2010
1. No new innings after 1 hour 45 minutes.
2. Length of Game:  6 innings for round robin portion, except 13 & 14U will be 7.
3. Games in single elimination portion of tournament shall be 7 innings, 12-13-14U and 6 innings for 10-11U, or no new inning after 1 hour 45 minutes. Championship game no time limit.
4. 10 run rule after 4 innings in 6 inning games and after 5 innings in 7 inning games.   
5. If a team is ahead by 15 runs at any time after 3rd inning game over.           
6. Bat 9-10 or lineup.
7. If batting 10 or more free defensive substitution.
8. No play on infield prior to game, so ground crews can get the fields ready, time permitting.
9. Two new balls per game.
10. Please clean dugouts after game.
11. Ejected players must sit out the next game. Two ejections by player or coach and they will be removed from the remainder of the tourney.
12. Courtesy runners for pitchers and catchers at anytime. Must be player not in game.
14. Please help  shag foul balls and home runs.
15. Any approved baseball bat may be used, no weight restriction.
16. In event of a tie we will use the tie breaker rule of putting last out on second base and team bats if time permits.

17. There will be a 10U thru 14U tourney in progress as well.

18. Bases will be 60' for 10U; 70’ for 11 & 12U and 80’ for 13 U & 90' for 14.
19. USSSA rules will govern the tourney with exceptions.
20. No gum, sunflower seeds, food or steal cleats on turf fields.
21. NO metal cleats on TURF FIELDS or turf mounds.

• Skyhawks 2 - Turf infield and outfield, turf mound
• Skyhawks 3 - Dirt infield natural grass outfield, turf mound
• Skyhawks 4 - Dirt infield natural grass outfield, turf mound
• Skyahwks 5 - Dirt infield natural grass outfield, turf mound
• RAC 1 - Turf infield, grass outfield, turf mound
• RAC 2 - Turf infield, grass outfield, turf mound
• RAC 3 - Turf infield, grass outfield, turf mound
• RAC 4 - Turf infield, grass outfield, turf mound
• RAC 5 - Turf infield, grass outfield, dirt mound

22. 10u no lead off.  May run on dropped third strike.
Pitching:
1. 46' for 10 U; 50’ for 11U & 12U and 54’ for 13U & 60' for 14U.
2. No metal cleats on pitching mounds or on turf fields.
3. No need to pitch if intentionally walking a hitter.
4. Pitching rules; 10u-11u-12u-13u are: 3 per game: 6 per day: 12 for tourney.
5. Pitching rules 14u. 12 inning for tourney.
6. Penalty: Manager and pitcher removed from game. Managers must bring to
   attention of Tournament Director or UIC.

Awards:
First, Second, team awards in all Division of play.
Individual first place T shirts and snow cones. Snow cones to second place team also.
